Your Derby Name: Miss Kitty Rosenkill
Your Derby Number: R051
Your Astrological Sign : Gemini
Occupation: Server/ Bartender
Favorite Music: Dave Matthews, The Grateful Dead, Widespread Panic, mostly jam bands and bluegrass but I’ll listen to just about anything
Favorite Movies: Almost Famous, Breakfast at Tiffany’s… Anything with the lovely Audrey Hepburn
Teams you Play for: All Stars, and previously the Battle Broads
Positions you Play: Pivot and blocker
How did you come up with your derby name?: It was a hard decision…  I love Hello Kitty and I am a Marine brat so it’s a play on Joseph Rosenthal.
How and when did you get involved in roller derby? : September 2010. Miss Chetty Boop told me about a recruitment clinic while standing in the bathroom of the Outland Ballroom, I went for it and the rest is history.
Have you had any derby-related serious injuries? : Not anything serious. There was that one time in the bathroom at practice when I slid my back down the toilet seat after loosing my balance… sick bruise… but we don’t talk about that.
Favorite position to play and why: Pivot or Two. I like to see what’s coming at me.
What kind of skates and wheels do you use?: Sure-Grip Rebels. Crap I know.
What’s your favorie rookie moment?: Any time in a bout when it ends up being Jailhouse Jenny and myself on the track by ourselves. We dominate!
Most exciting moment in your derby career?: Receiving the “Big Call Up” to the All-Stars mid season in 2011
What do you do on game day?: Relax, stay hydrated, try to shake the bout day jitters… And usually sing a bout day song, which goes like this: “It’s bout day, Oh Yeah, it’s bout day!!!” It’s simple. It has a dance that goes along with it, I’ll teach you sometime…
Who is your hero?: Audrey Hepburn
Favorite team to play against and why: Circle City from Indianapolis. It was a brutal blow-out but it taught me how important it is to not give up and to play with all your heart.  Also, the most fun after party yet. You can’t go wrong with 30 derby girls singing Bohemian Rhapsody at the top of their lungs…
What’s your favorite drink?: Pabst Blue Ribbon and Rumpleminze
