| How did you come up with your derby name?: | I was all set to go with Ali Swear ‘n’ Gin (Deadwood, anyone?) when I met the real Amber Lager. Hence the roman numeral 2. Amber Lager in real life: super sweet. Amber Lager in the derby world: no bueno. |
| How and when did you get involved in roller derby? : | I came the first season after seeing a recruitment flyer. |
| Have you had any derby-related serious injuries? : | Cracked patella. Torn meniscus. Ripped out all tendons and ligaments plus a minor break. That particular injury took 2 screws, 2 surgeries, and a whole season of rehab to get back on skates. |
| Favorite position to play and why: : | I’m not picky. I just love being on the track! |
| What kind of skates and wheels do you use?: | The only thing that matters is that I have old school Pro Lines and most of you don’t. |
| Most exciting moment in your derby career?: | Being invited to skate with some of the Kansas City Roller Warrior All Stars on the MO Money banked track team. |
| What do you do on game day?: | Focus and visualize. Make sure tights and/or fishnets don’t have any huge holes. |
| Who is your hero?: | My Mema Baker who was the epitome of compassion, determination, and well timed sarcasm. |
| Favorite team to play against and why:: | KC! I learn so much every time I hit the track with them. Memphis is a close second. Both teams are professional, clean playing, and hardcore after partying leagues! |
| What’s your favorite drink?: | Non Alcoholic: H20 Liquor: Absolut and water with lime juice. Beer: Red Stripe and Amber Lager Shot: (you know, in case you want to buy me on) Vegas Bomb |
