How did you choose your derby name? Any special meaning?
I love the movie, “Rosemary’s Baby”. Plus, I’m the biggest Diva on staff. Any questions?
How did you get started playing derby?
I always thought it was an awesome sport, but did not really get into it until my friend Stephanie talked me into joining MADDerby, in Branson. Initially, I was supposed to ref for them too, but then they decided to go co-ed, and there I was next to my Derby sisters.
Have you been on any other leagues besides SRG?
MADDerby in Branson, MO and actually started learning to ref with Memphis Roller Derby for a couple of months.
What is the hardest moment you have over come since joining derby? What have been some of your proudest derby accomplishments?
Perseverance is an essential in Derby. Probably one of the hardest things to overcome anywhere and for anything, but also the most gratifying. busted my tailbone during practice back when I first started. It was one of my first tries as a jammer and I tried playing like I was an expert. Landed square of my tailbone, and that was one of those moments when most people would tuck tail and go home. But five minutes later I was back on the rink. That was the day I really felt like a REAL Derby girl.
Who would you say is your biggest derby supporter or ‘superfan’?
Any of my girls from MADDerby, they have cheered me on from the get-go: iSmack, Shell Shock, and Mega Shifty. Dos House and Gory Feldman have been there all along as well.
What is something that most people don’t know about you?
I am a total Trekkie.
What is your favorite thing to do when you’re not playing roller derby?
READ – I AM A NERD. Say somethin’…I dare ya’.
