Springfield Roller Girls Accepted as Women’s Flat Track Derby Association Apprentice
Springfield, MO— The Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) is proud to announce today that Springfield Roller Girls have been accepted as an “Apprentice” affiliate of the WFTDA, the governing body for women’s amateur flat track roller derby.
As an Apprentice affiliate of the WFTDA, Springfield Roller Girls join the ranks of more than 100 all-female, skater-owned-and-operated leagues nationwide that have united to lead the growing sport of women’s flat track roller derby. Continue reading
Return of the Rolling Dread

The Springfield Roller Girls will host ‘Night of the Rolling Dread’ on Saturday, July 17. This action-packed double header gives fans the chance to come cheer on their Springfield Roller Girls as they take on two heated rivals: the Battle Broads vs. the Circle City Socialites from Indianapolis, IN; and the All Stars vs. the Kansas City Roller Warriors from Kansas City, MO. The All Stars are out for blood after ending the 2009 season with just one loss to the KCRW crew.
